Our exquisite, organically crafted Rose de Mai Hydrosol (or Rose Maroc Hydrosol) is hydro-distilled at a low temperature from soft, velvety petals of freshly picked Rosa Centifolia flowers cultivated and harvested in France. The Damascena Rose Hydrosolhas a deep, powerful aroma, while the Centifolia Rose Hydrosol has a sweet, delicate aroma.
Rosa Centifolia, or popularly known as Provence Rose, Cabbage Rose or Rose de Mai, are the hundred petaled roses or cabbage roses made famous by Dutch still life painters and are the result of hybridizing efforts by Dutch breeders in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries.
